Bringing more than 15 years experience in the areas of private-public partnerships and corporate strategies with particular focus in science and technology parks, Mr. Mariani has been the driving force behind major international partnerships involving science parks around the world.
Mr. Mariani adds significant depth and expertise and will play an important role in advising and overseeing the development of a state-of-the-art science and technology park in Bahrain, for which the Bank announced initial plans in 2005.

Mr. Mariani holds a Master in Science and Information Technology (MSIT) from Nice Sophia Antipolis University, were he also served as a strategic communications lecturer.
He is currently the unique holder in France of a terminal academic professional doctoral degree (DIT).
