The annual Emirates Holidays World brochure launch - by the largest wholesale tour operator in the Gulf and Middle East - is an eagerly-awaited event. More than 6,000 holiday-seekers from across the UAE are expected to flock to the launch, once again being staged at the Grand Hyatt Dubai Convention Centre, with free public entry on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th April.

They will be hosted by experts from National Tourist Offices and Emirates Holidays destination partners from around the world, who will guide them to hundreds of holiday treasures waiting to be explored at new and existing destinations in the new brochures.

This year, Emirates Holidays will be showcasing details of its largest-ever range of holiday packages contained in four brochures covering the Middle East, Europe and North America, Africa and Indian Ocean, and Asia and Australasia.

On offer are flexible, affordable and quality holidays to more than 100 stunning leisure destinations in 36 countries. The brochure launch will bring the excitement of some of these holiday hot spots with lively cultural displays from throughout the world, staged in a lively carnival atmosphere.

In all, more than 500,000 brochures will be distributed through travel agents in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia, to thousands of potential travellers.

Arabic language brochures are produced for use throughout the Middle East, together with a dedicated brochure for Saudi Arabia. New this year are brochures in Russian, and a dedicated brochure for distribution in the Mediterranean and Levant countries.

The new, expanded "A World of Choice" 2006-7 brochures offer the biggest-ever choice of holidays for Emirates Holidays customers, reflecting the continued expansion of Emirates Holidays and the ever-increasing global reach of Emirates' route network.

Emirates Holiday World 2006 will offer consumers and travel agents in-depth knowledge of Emirates Holidays' staff, and unique opportunities to interact and consult with destination specialists from around the world to create holiday perfection - whether it be a honeymoon getaway at an exotic spa, a luxury ocean cruise, or the thrills of a theme park adventure.

Each "A World of Choice" 2006-7 brochure features a number of exciting new destinations. In the Middle East, Dubai remains the most important destination and there are new hotels including the Grosvenor House Hotel and Habtoor Grand. The Kempinski Hotel at the Mall of the Emirates, due to open soon, is also featured with its Ayurveda spa, Alpine chalets and restaurant overlooking the ski slope. Alexandria in Egypt, with daily flights on Emirates, is a new destination.

Africa has five-star safari accommodation, such as the Tinga Private Game Lodge in South Africa's Kruger National Park, and the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius, now served by two more weekly Emirates flights, has a wide range of luxurious beach resorts.

The Europe and North America brochure has four new destinations: Manchester in the UK; Montreaux in Switzerland; the Greek island of Santorini; and Agia Napa on Cyprus. The Tussaud Group's four UK theme parks, including Alton Towers, and Germany's biggest theme park, Europa Park, are also new.

There are several new destinations in Asia and Australasia: Hua Hin in Thailand; Sentosa Island in Singapore; Seoul in South Korea; and the Whitsunday Islands on Australia's Great Barrier Reef.

All hotels, apartments, lodges and resorts offered by Emirates Holidays have been inspected to ensure that they meet the needs of the discerning holidaymaker.

An early bird discount of five per cent is available for holidays booked and paid for at Emirates Holidays World 2006. Ten holidays to some of the most exciting destinations in Europe, Africa & Indian Ocean, Asia & Australasia will be raffled during the consumer days. The prizes will include hotel accommodation inclusive of breakfast and transfers, plus Emirates economy class tickets.
