Commenting on the announcement, Mike Lee, SCLG President said: "2006 promises great changes for our industry. We expect an increasingly open market environment, which offers unique opportunities for us as an industry body."

To coincide with the announcement, SCLG also unveiled its new corporate identity to consolidate the group's official legal backing by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), to broaden its capabilities and introduce a new portfolio of supply chain services. This change reflects the significant relationship between DCCI and SCLG.

The members include Jan Bak, Vice President Sales and Marketing for PVAXX and Johnson Soans, Logistics Manager for Panasonic Gulf FZE.

Mike Lee as the current President and Sanjay Babur as the Vice President have been appointed to oversee the group's daily activities.
