Gulf Air Holidays to unveil new 'Experience' brochures and 'Fly Drive' packages at Arabian Travel Market

Gulf Air, the airline with the biggest network in the Middle East offering excellent connections to over 45 destinations across the continents, will be a major participant at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) to be held in Dubai from 2 to 5 May 2006.

ATM, one of the biggest tourism and travel exhibitions in the Middle East attracts more than 10,000 visitors from the tourism and travel industry worldwide.

"Gulf Air Holidays, our dedicated holiday packages division, has produced a new set of 'Experience' programmes for this summer - the Arabian Experience, Asia Pacific Experience and the European Experience packages- offering new incentives such as pre-bookable excursions, new destinations and classic combination packages," says Ali Murtada, Vice President Business Units.

"The ATM is an important platform for the travel and hospitality industry that allows significant interaction between members of the industry on a global level as well as the travelling public. It is where hotels announce new properties and concepts, airlines announce new routes and new packages and, inbound, outbound and intra-regional tour operators get to know each other well. Gulf Air is a regular participant in this event."


Gulf Air Holidays will also present at the event its Fly Drive packages that allow passengers to drive around at select destinations in a wide selection of cars such as Peugeot, Vauxhall, Ford, Saab or Mercedes. Available for a minimum of three days, the package offers reductions if there are more passengers travelling in the same car and can be extended for longer durations. Whether flying from Bahrain to London Heathrow, Paris, Frankfurt, Dublin or Johannesburg, the package comes with a return Economy Class ticket and rental of a self drive car (inclusive of unlimited mileage, third party insurance, collision damage waiver, theft protection, airport surcharge and local taxes). Beginning at an unbeatable price of US$ 770, the Fly Drive packages also offer added incentives of flying to Edinburgh, Manchester, Munich or Nice at no extra cost.

The Gulf Air Holidays packages focus on the travel preferences of both the local community and resident expatriates and are packed with quality, value for money package holidays with a range of properties to suit all tastes and budgets, from luxurious beach-front resorts to elegant boutique hotels, from homely self catering apartments to chic villas.

All Gulf Air Holidays packages include return Economy Class flights on Gulf Air, two or three nights' accommodation dependant on the destination, breakfast each morning and return airport transfers by private vehicle.
