Participants of UAE Trade Fair in Ghana optimistic to strike fruitful deals

Participants of the UAE Trade Fair in Ghana showed enough satisfaction with the good organization of the exhibition held at Ghana Trade Fair Center in Accra and organized under the patronage of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI).

They hailed the efforts of the DCCI for organizing this fair and for considering their suggestions and observations.

Mr. Atiq Jumaa Naseeb, Director of Business Development Department in the DCCI was satisfied with the participation of the UAE economic establishments stressing the DCCI's readiness to provide all sorts of support and aid to the participants expecting good results and big deals.

Mr. Sultan Majid Lootah, Acting Director of Business Promotion Department in the DCCI, noted that the DCCI's exhibition stand helps introducing the business community in Ghana to the key role played by the Dubai Chamber in promoting businesses and receiving commercial delegations and missions. He pointed out that the Chamber provides them with full information about its company members willing to set up joint ventures and business relations with their counterparts in Ghana, in addition to providing them with the DCCI's publications as the commercial and industrial directories and other brochures about the Chamber's services and activities.

Mr. Khalid bin Nassar, from the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, said that they are interested in taking part in such economic and trade events to promote Dubai as a distinguished economic and trade destination. "Our participation in organizing the UAE Trade Fair in Ghana is based on our belief that Ghana is a significant business gate to West Africa region and that it could support our continuous promotional campaigns in this significant place of the world, mainly because our department has an effective representative office in Johannesburg in South Africa, as well as other marketing activating in Africa as a whole," said Bi Nassar.

Khalid Al-Shams, Managing Director, Morison Menon, Chartered Accountants, confirmed that his company considers the exhibition an opportunity to explore Ghana and its possible opportunities, enhance bilateral trade between the UAE and Ghana; especially that it has an enormous market with 20 million consumers. Al-Shams mentioned that his organization would take part in the DCCI's exhibitions to come in Germany and Turkey.

On the sideline of the exihibition, Atiq Jumaa Naseeb, Director of Business Development Department of DCCI, head of the Chamber's delegation to the UAE Exhibition in Ghana, met with the Chairman of Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The two sides discussed ways of cooperation and coordination between the two Chambers and enhancement of the trade and economic ties, as well as promotion of investment opportunities in the UAE and Ghana. The two sides also discussed the possibility of signing a joint Memo of Understanding.
