Brisbane investment prospects highlighted through Bahrain tour

Investment opportunities in Brisbane, Australia will be showcased by a delegation visiting Bahrain and the UAE from April 21st to May 1st.

The team from Velocity Brisbane, the city's investment attraction agency, will be highlighting a wide range of attractive commercial sectors and the cost-free services it offers to investors wishing to do business there, it was revealed during the press conference held at the Coral Beach Resort.

During their stay in Bahrain, the company representatives will be meeting with hotel and commercial property developers, logistics and aviation industry-related players, perishable goods distributors, leaders in the health sciences industry and others.

'The capital city of Queensland, Brisbane is a modern and sophisticated metropolitan center,' said David Regan, CEO, Velocity Brisbane. Brisbane is a catalyst of economic growth in Australia, with a pool of talent which continues to rise. This is evidenced by its 2.5% rate of population growth, which is more than double all other capital cities in Australia. It has over 110,000 students enrolled in universities and 14.2% of its workforce hold bachelor's degrees or higher qualifications, compared to the Australian average of 9.6%.
