Clyde & Co announces appointments

To Senior Equity Partner:

Niall O'Toole (Abu Dhabi) Corporate: commercial, energy. Niall heads up the firm's operations in Abu Dhabi. Qualified in three jurisdictions, he has considerable experience in a broad range of matters including corporate/M&A, energy, aviation and defence and international transactions. Niall routinely advises local and international companies in connection with the establishment, maintenance and termination of Abu Dhabi joint ventures, as well as corporate acquisitions and disposals and in connection with local regulatory requirements and developments.

To Equity Partner:

Philip O'Riordan (Dubai) Corporate/commercial. Philip qualified as a solicitor in 1995 and was a partner in a leading regional law firm in the UK before joining Clyde & Co's Dubai office in 2003. He has extensive experience in local and international corporate and commercial transactions. Philip has advised companies listed on the official list of the London Stock Exchange and multinational corporations on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters including IPO's, private equity fund raisings, mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs, management buy-ins, joint ventures and other commercial arrangements. Philip has presented a number of seminars to corporate clients and led a series of workshops on corporate insurance issues in the UAE and DIFC.
