Oman bank credit hits $10bn

The Central Bank of Oman has released provisional figures, for the end of March, that indicate total bank credit in the country has crossed the $10bn mark, a rise of 13.2% for the same time last year, reported the Times of Oman. The CBO also released figures suggesting that the combined profits of banks for Q1 stood at $89m, up by nearly 15% on 2005.
