New Iranian refinery

The Iranian Oil Ministry is intending to build a new refinery in order to turn heavy crude into light crude, reported the Tehran Times. The exact location of the new plant has yet to be revealed but plans are in place for the refinery to convert about 700,000 bpd. Tenders on the first unit of the refinery will shortly be released.
