$545m Al Quoz project starts

Dubai Properties has announced that work has started on its new residential development in Al Quoz, on Al Khail Road, which will deliver 8,000 housing units by the end of 2008. Phase one, valued at $191m, will be completed in January 2007 when 3,000 housing units will be ready for occupation; the second phase is valued at $354m and will add 5,000 more units by the end of 2008.
