KSA phone licences wanted

A number of Saudi and foreign investors are vying to win the kingdom's second land phone licence and its third mobile phone licence, reported Arab News. At least ten consortia have expressed a strong interest and many of these bid previously for the second GSM licence, which was secured by the UAE's Etisalat. The Saudi Telecom Company has 12m mobile phone subscribers and 4m land phone subscribers.
