Among the issues discussed were claims that Saudi women are ignored by Islam and denied their rights by the Saudi government. The Forum also examined the role of women in voluntary work and the different types of work available to women. In addition, it highlighted the important role the media can play in focusing on work undertaken by women in leading positions.

Musa Al Aruri, General Manager, Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors, said that Naghi Motors' sponsorship of the 3rd Cultural Forum reflects the company's understanding of the vital role the business community plays in supporting the development and prosperity of the Kingdom.

"Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors believes that the issues discussed were highly significant and will help refute false allegations about Saudi women and their rights. The truth is that the Saudi government has broadened its support for the full participation of women at all levels of society and the Forum reflected this,"

Al Aruri said.
