Bechara Studio captures the art scene at the Green Community

Lebanese Artist and Interior Designer Imad Bechara is launching 'Bechara Studio', at the tranquil Green Community, following a string of captivating art exhibitions in the region.

The new Bechara Studio is launching on the 26th April 2006, following the success of the artist in Dubai over the past decade. The studio will mark the leap from hobby to career for Bechara and add to Dubai's ever growing art scene.

Following a thriving career as an interior designer Bechara Studio will create a platform for Bechara to display his own unique style artwork which he has developed over the past fifteen years, in which he uses acrylics and mixed media to design abstract and figurative pieces for commercial and personal possession.

Commenting on the launch Imad Bechara said:

"Opening the Bechara Studio is an extremely important career move for me. Having a permanent studio will allow me to showcase the variety of work I can produce including ethnic art, mixed media paintings incorporating newspapers and other abstract materials as well as my sculptures."


Since launching his career Bechara has built a large following globally. His work is sought after by Royal Families in the Gulf, and for private collections in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East.

Strengthening his popularity, Bechara has participated in a number of well received solo exhibitions in Dubai at the Green Art Gallery, Creatis Gallery and DecoArt Gallery in Abu Dhabi, as well as partaking in group exhibitions at Intercontinental Hotel, Dubai and Le Meridian Hotel, Abu Dhabi.

Internationally, Bechara has showcased his work in a series of solo exhibitions at recognised galleries including Maccassar Gallery in Bangkok, East West Gallery, Cenisio Art Gallery, Artomat Gallery, Gilardi Museum all in Italy and Galleria Le lach in Lugano,Switzerland. He has also displayed his work in a group exhibition at the bespoke Le Foyer de l'Artiste II- Art & Artisanat in Lebanon.

Commercially, Bechara's work has taken off as he can offer an excellent insight for corporate artwork as he understands space, colour and light and how to interpret the eye of the beholder. It is his ability to capture the moment and express his mood to produce one off paintings that has made his art work prominent in the industry. People can relate to his creations through their individual interpretations.

Due to his remarkable capabilities, Bechara's unique work has been commissioned by Government Departments, reputable Corporate Offices and Hotels in the region including the Consulate Of Lebanon in Dubai and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Lebanon, and he was delighted to create an outstanding 24 pieces for the Shangri-La hotel in Dubai, to name a few.

"I am extremely excited to launch Bechara Studio so I can demonstrate my abilities to a wider audience and continue to develop my career and expand on my collections," Bechara concluded.
