Elite Jets has been operating from the VIP Majilis terminal at Dubai International Airport since receiving its Air Operator's Certificate from the GCAA in November 2004. On the exhibition stand, the company will present its fleet of aircraft and the luxury services it offers to VIP clients. Elite Jets will also use the opportunity offered by the ATM to explore potential partnerships with the providers of complementary luxury travel services. Elite Jets will exhibit alongside one of the company's investors, JML Investments, a diversified investment group based in Dubai.
Elite Jets' Director of Sales and Marketing, Caron Gledhill - who has worked extensively within the international luxury travel industry - believes that Dubai's emergence as a luxury destination and residence for the world's wealthy, presents an opportunity that has not yet been fully recognised:
"There is no doubt that for many of the wealthy people coming to Dubai, attracted by the quality of hotels here or looking for a property, private air travel is the norm and we believe that Elite Jets can help meet this potential demand through our 5-star service. We hope to use our presence at the ATM to meet like-minded companies whose services we can complement - whether this is a luxury hotel chain or an individual property."
"Elite Jets has very successfully established a strong reputation for executive travel within the corporate sector in the region, working with luxury brand owners such as Harry Winston, multi-national banking firms, and real estate developers and we are now keen to broaden this presence to incorporate the VIP travel segment of the market, where we are already active but where there is still tremendous opportunity," added Ms Gledhill.
Recent developments at Elite Jets include the delivery of its second Raytheon Hawker 1000 aircraft, which has joined the company's charter fleet, and a third aircraft will be added to the portfolio in July 2006 - a brand new Raytheon Hawker 850XP, which has the largest, most luxurious cabin in the midsize jet class. Elite Jets recently signed an agreement with Dubai-based Al Naboodah Travel and Tourism through which Elite Jets is providing its charter services to Al Naboodah's own corporate and leisure clients.
