Set for Dubai International Exhibition Centre for 28 - 30 May, Messe Frankfurt explain that a lot of the show's success can be attributed to the large global franchise that Automechanika enjoys as well as a buoyant local market.

According to Michael Dehn, Exhibition Manager,

"We have global reach which means that visitors can expect to meet suppliers of automotive parts and accessories from around the world. Over 40 countries are represented including 19 national pavilions."

Amongst these several countries are represented for the first time including Egypt, Greece, Jordan, Malaysia, Morocco, Romania, Switzerland, Syria and Thailand.

One of the main driving forces behind the growth of the Automechanika Gulf event in Dubai is a function of the 40% increase in the automotive parts and accessories imports, as reported recently by Dubai Ports. "Year on year growth for the show reflects this dynamic market trend", say Dehn.

Another key measure of Automechanika Gulf's success is the fact that pre-registrations to attend the exhibition are again up on last year. With over 8,000 professionals set to visit, as many are expected from Asia and Africa as they are from the Middle East. Dehn explained that "whilst 43% of visitors have pre-registered from Middle Eastern countries, 40% are expected to come from Africa and Asia. This goes to prove that Automechanika Gulf is the ultimate one-stop shop for trade buyers of automotive parts and accessories."

Major names too understand the value of exhibiting at the Dubai show. Some of the largest exhibitors include nearly 50 UAE firms such as Arwani Trading and Sedana. The list from overseas reads like a who's who of the industry, featuring major companies such as Cummins.

Cummins ReCon will be presenting a variety of high quality, competitively priced and genuine Cummins products. Produced with both new components, and components that have been through the rigorous Cummins ReCon re-manufacturing process. Cummins ReCon was created to satisfy customer demand for genuine Cummins products to get equipment back in operation faster than a local repair or rebuild.

With over 1,000 product categories on show, visitors will be assured of seeing the latest and best that the industry can offer, covering everything from equipment for body shop outlets to sophisticated technology for the upscale garage operator.
