Twenty teams from the UAE advertising fraternity will be given a full creative brief, which will remain secret until the day of the competition and will concentrate on a social responsibility issue. Each team will have 10 hours to produce a maximum of 2 print/poster advertisements. Judging will take place at the same venue on the following day from 1pm to 5pm with the awards ceremony to be held at the IAA social on 09 May from 7pm.
The winning team will travel to the 53rd Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival in June 2006 to represent the UAE in the international competition. The Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival is the largest gathering of the worlds advertising, creative, direct marketing, interactive, radio, media & marketing communities. At least 30 teams, representing 30 countries, will compete to win the highly coveted and prestigious Cannes Lions Young Creative Award.
