Senses offers specialised services for children and young adults of all nationalities with learning and physical disabilities from its own centre near Safa Park in Dubai.
Acorns, based in the English Midlands, runs three hospices for children whose condition means they are unlikely to reach adulthood.
The fourth charity benefit was the British Community Assistance Fund (BCAF), which, for the past 20 years, has been helping British subjects who find themselves in distress in the UAE through no fault of their own.
BBG Chairman Jennifer Bibbings said:
"A volunteer committee works throughout the year to organise Great British Day, which is a fun day out for all the family, but also has the aim of raising funds for worthy causes."
"Thanks to the generosity of the sponsors and visitors we raised a record amount at the latest event and we are delighted to pass it on to organisations which are doing wonderful work in the community, both in the UAE and the UK."
