Bahrain wants the tallest

Bahrain is studying plans for 1,022-metre tall building designed by Danish firm Henning Larsens Tegnestue, which if built would be double the height of Taiwan Taipai 101, which at 506 metres is currently the world's tallest, according to Gulf Daily News. The plan envisages five towers which would house 30,000 people. It is expected to be announced on 7 May.
