Dubai's Savoy Group gets thumbs up from travel agents on first day of Arabian Travel Market

Mr. D. Dominic, the Group General Manager overseeing the overall operation of the three properties comprising the Savoy Hotel Apartment, Savoy Park Hotel Apartment and the Savoy Crest Apartment had a welcoming visions of good summer business this year given the feedback his team has received from several travel agents they have met on the first day of the Arabian Travel Market at the Dubai World Trade Center.

This year's ATM which attracted 1750 travel firms, airlines, hotels, realty companies indicates that Dubai and the UAE has a great pull in terms of inbound tourism being a favourite holiday destination of the Gulf. The respective sales teams of the three properties together with the Marco Polo Hotel team led by Sunil Marya, the newly appointed Vice President and General Manager were excited on the summer business prospects for the group. They have met new travel agents attending the fair for the first time as well as received new booking leads for the forthcoming summer months.

The Savoy Park Hotel Apartments and the Savoy Crest Apartments; comfortable accommodations managed and owned by the group are located at the central district of Bur Dubai. It is a walking distance to some of biggest shopping malls in town, the financial district and just minutes away from the major tourist landmarks of the city.

The Savoy Hotel Apartment, the first property built by the group in 1996, also located in central Bur Dubai will undergo major refurbishment and will be closed temporarily beginning June until end of July. It is expected to be relaunched in early August to welcome the tourists and corporate travelers who are expected to flock Dubai in time for the major exhibitions being start of the business season.
