"Dubai is the first and only city in the world to offer the three major Hyatt brands - Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Regency. Together they provide more than 1,310 beds and a range of services unique to Hyatt,"
he said.
The Dubai hotels make up three of the eight Hyatt properties in the Middle East, which between them represent a massive 40% of the total room inventory of the group's Europe, Africa, and Middle East division. "We also have four new projects under construction in Jeddah, Doha, Beirut and a second hotel in Cairo, which shows how important the Middle East is to the group."
Bertin said that as well as attracting inbound traffic, the healthy economic growth of the region represented increased opportunities regionally and internationally for outbound travellers, which was one of the reasons so many Hyatt hotels from outside the region were represented at ATM.
Hyatt hotels from as far afield as Washington, Moscow, London and Paris are represented at the trade show, which is being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from May 2 to May 5. "Hyatt has exhibited at ATM since its inception. It is the right place and time of the year to meet with key buyers and the rest of the world," Bertin said.
The international Hyatt hotels represented at ATM include Grand Hyatt Amman; Grand Hyatt Cairo; Grand Hyatt Dubai; Grand Hyatt Mumbai; Grand Hyatt Muscat; Hyatt Regency Casablanca; Hyatt Regency Dubai; Hyatt Regency Istanbul; Hyatt Regency Kolkata; Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill; Hyatt Regency Mumbai; Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh; Park Hyatt Dubai; Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa; Park Hyatt Milan; Park Hyatt Moscow; Park Hyatt Paris Vendome; Park Hyatt Washington; and Park Hyatt Zurich.
