ADC is supporting this year's PropertyLINK 2006 in order to highlight and promote the significant investment opportunities available in ASEZ.

ADC owns and maintains all the development and management rights for the strategic assets in ASEZ, making it a leading model for real estate development in the region. Since its launch in 2004, ADC has successfully attracted several billion dollars worth of investments to ASEZ, focused on three key sectors vital to ASEZ's economic growth and development - Real Estate, Transport & Infrastructure and Social enablers.

In the real estate sector, ADC has attracted considerable interest over the past year with mega-tourism projects such as the $600 million Saraya Aqaba project, centered around a man-made lagoon, being announced recently. The most significant real estate project in ASEZ to date is led, in collaboration with ASEZA and ADC, by Horizon Development Holdings, a leading Arab investment firm that is investing approximately $5 billion in an urban development project that will be completed over the coming ten years.

ADC has been busy promoting the various investment opportunities available in ASEZ with ADC representatives recently having visited Qatar in April, as part of ASEZA's outward mission led by ASEZA Chief Commissioner Nader Dahabi along with high-ranking figures from the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA). The visit helped pave the way for attracting Qatari investment in Aqaba related to the real estate, tourism and services related sectors. The high level Aqaba delegation was greeted and sponsored by the Qatari Chamber of Commerce. The Qatar visit was a great success and came to an end with a number of prospective Qatari projects expected to be announced shortly.
