Jazeera Airways launches Alexandria with four flights a week

Jazeera Airways (K.S.C), the new national airline of Kuwait and the first private airline in the Middle East, launched flights to Alexandria, making it its 8th destination on its network and second in Egypt in addition to Luxor.

Jazeera Airways Chairman and Ceo Marwan Boodai and former Egyptian Ambassador H.E. Taher Khalifah.

To celebrate the launch, the airline held a press conference in one of the oldest knowledge centers in the world, Bibliotheca Alexandria (the new Alexandria Library). Attending the event was Kuwait's Ambassador to Egypt, in addition to the Director of External Affairs at the Library, former Egyptian Ambassador H.E. Taher Khalifah.

Jazeera Airways Chairman and CEO said,

"Alexandria travelers now too can take be free from the hassle of travel with other airlines. Jazeera Airways brings them easy 24/7 online booking and payment, online seat reservations, leather seats, and brand new planes, in short we will bring them freedom of travel and independence of planning."

Jazeera Airways will be flying to Alecandria's Burj El Arab Airport.

Jazeera Airways is a brand new airline that inaugurated its fleet of brand new and all-leather seats Airbus A320s last October. Today the airline flies to eight destinations in total, including Dubai, Bahrain, Damascus, Beirut, Aleppo, Amman, and now Alexandria and Luxor.

With its entry into the market, the airline introduced low-fares air travel, 24-hour online booking and payment (through jazeeraairways.com), seat reservation at the time of booking, and sms booking - making it the fifth airline in the world and the first in the Middle East to introduce this service.
