$1.9bn Al Futtaim Egypt venture

Al Futtaim, the UAE-based business group, has announced plans to invest $1.9bn in a real estate project in Egypt, reported Gulf News. The development, in New Cairo City, will include a 1.5m sqft retail park, two hotels, an office park and a 1,500 villa residential complex. Al Futtaim is also set to open a Toyota dealership in Egypt.
