UAE tourists visit Egypt

The number of tourists visiting Egypt from the UAE has risen by 40% so far this year, with 74,000 hotel rooms occupied between January and March, according to the Chairman of the Egyptian Tourist Authority, Ahmed El Khadem. Despite the terrorist attack in Dahab last month, which killed up to 23 people, flight bookings from the GCC have dropped minimally, by about 2%.
