Gulf leaders in rich list

Gulf leaders have featured prominently in this year's Forbes magazine rich list of national rulers. Top of the list is King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia with a fortune estimated at $21bn, while the UAE's President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan is placed third at $US19bn. The UAE's Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is thought to be worth $14bn.
