Wataniya, $37.8m Q1 profit

Kuwait's Wataniya Telecom has announced its results for Q1, with the Company posting a consolidated net profit of $37.8 m. Group revenues for Q1 increased to $360.4 m, an increase of 44% compared to the same period in 2005. Total active customers jumped to 7,123,022 compared to 6,390,504 from the last quarter, an increase of 11%.
