Air Arabia flies to Kabul

Launching its second new destination this month, Air Arabia LLC, the first and only low-fares airline in the Middle East and North Africa, made its first flight to Kabul on Thursday 4th May, in a landmark event for Afghanistan.

The delegation led by Air Arabia's Chairman and CEO and accompanied by senior officials, media, invitees and passengers was welcomed in Kabul by the Afghanistan Minister of Transport His Excellency Mr. Enaytullah Qasimi.

Air Arabia's Chairman, Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani said on the occasion,

"Air Arabia is delighted to commence flights to Kabul today. We will continue to link to more new destinations and give more and more people better options to travel across this region. We look forward to developing stronger links between UAE and Afghanistan and especially to help to rebuild the economy with increased business and leisure travellers to Kabul."
