Steibelt explained.
In order to boost the company's profile in the region, GML also announced that the Mumbai office will be headed by newly appointed sales manager Anjali Shirke, who brings over 12 years of management and operations experience in the local logistics industry.
Her immediate priorities are to reinforce the GML brand and promote its specialised ship spares supply chain solutions directly to the Indian-based shipping community. Shirke will also highlight GAC's global purchasing agreements with major air and sea carriers which enable GML to offer its customers favourable rates and space access.
Established in 2003 with the specific purpose to offer ship owners and management companies an integrated "door-to-deck" service to transport ship spares around the world, GML currently has coordination centres in Dubai, Singapore and Oslo.
