The ATP designation recognises STME for having the ability to provide the core knowledge and skills required to deploy an emerging technology and complimentary services, while the market opportunity is being developed. With the ATP status, STME will be able to deliver and support CISCO MDS 9000-based SANTap applications, including Cisco MDS 9000 Storage Service Modules and SMARTnet support in the Middle East region.
"ATP Partners are instrumental in helping Cisco penetrate emerging markets," said Tarek Ghoul, Regional Channel Manager, GCC and Pakistan, Cisco Systems. "ATP Partners, like STME, are hand picked by Cisco to develop the knowledge and skills that enable them to ensure the successful deployment and management of new growth technologies."
Jocelyn Al Adwani, Deputy CEO, STME, said,
"We are pleased to be designated as an Advanced Technology Provider by Cisco Systems. This recognition amply demonstrates STME's expertise and market credibility, given that the ATP status is accorded only to a select few. We will work in close cooperation with Cisco Systems in tapping new growth opportunities in the fast-growing Middle East storage market."
STME has completed rigorous training and knowledge validation requirements for becoming a provider for ATP Storage. Combined with the existing Cisco System certification that STME has previously achieved, this new ATP designation places STME at the forefront in providing the complete lifecycle of storage services.
