RAK FTZA has finalized an international marketing plan which has proved real success since the beginning of the ongoing year as more than 365 new companies have invested with the zone and started new bases in Ras Al Khaimah.

In line with its expansion plan, RAK FTZ will construct soon two new typical seven storey buildings (Twin-Towers) at the Business Park to accommodate the offices of the registered companies in order to cope with the increasing number of companies from the five continents interested in registering at the zone. More of such companies have already started their investments in Ras Al Khaimah to benefit from the zone's services, facilities and the advanced IT services.

Oussama El Omari, the Director General and CEO of RAK FTZ said the well prepared marketing plan aims at introducing the business people and hundreds of multinational companies in the targeted countries to the zone's tempting services and facilities.

He added that one of the delegations will start their journey by targeting Syria where a clear picture for the business environment in Ras Al Khaimah will be drawn for the business communities there, expressing his confidence in attracting new companies to register at the zone. He stressed that the delegation will invite the Syrian business people and investors by sending them SMS messages and other different types of invitations.

El Omari said that RAK FTZ's second visit will target Germany where the RAK FTZ will take part at the "UAE in Germany" Exhibition scheduled on May 9-11th. He added that a major propaganda for the comprehensive presentation the delegation will deliver to the German business community during the exhibition will be organized in the German dailies to give the necessary publicity. He stressed that the commercial and industrial services required by the German companies have been carefully studied by the RAK FTZ, adding that those companies will get the ideal services in Ras Al Khaimah. He said a big number of the German companies are expected to register at the zone after the visit.

El Omari said the zone's third visit will target Turkey where the delegation will organize a major seminar at Istanbul Chamber of Commerce to introduce the Turkish business people and investors to the services offered by RAK FTZ. He added that the delegation's visit to Turkey will play a major role in pushing the national economy of Ras Al Khaimah forward. He stressed that the visit to Turkey will be fruitful as a big number of Turkish companies have already expressed their interests in setting up bases in Ras Al Khaimah.

El Omari said the last visit during this month will target India where they will visit Calcutta and Combator to introduce the Indian businessmen and investors to the zone's services and facilities which have already attracted tens of the Indian companies to start their new bases in Ras Al Khaimah. El Omari said the registration of new Indian companies in the zone will be an outstanding addition to the already registered companies.
