CBO urges less personal loans

Central Bank of Oman Executive President Hamoud bin Sangour Al Zadjali has urged local banks to control personal loan growth and make available more funds for long-term industrial ventures, reported the Oman Daily Observer. Al Zadjali addressed a social awareness programme promoting sensible borrowing, and also urged banks to promote personal savings.
