Deutsche Bank opens branch in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Deutsche Bank today officially opened its Saudi Arabian branch in Riyadh at a ceremony attended by Dr Josef Ackermann, Chairman of the Management Board and the Group Executive Committee at Deutsche Bank and numerous local dignitaries.

Deutsche Bank has had a presence in the Middle East since 1914 and the new branch will offer the full range of investment banking, asset management and private wealth management services.

Dr Josef Ackermann, Chairman of the Management Board and the Group Executive Committee at Deutsche Bank, who officially inaugurated the new office, commented,

"Saudi Arabia has the largest economy in the Middle East and we recognise that the region is becoming a crucial international market. Deutsche Bank is delighted to be opening our own branch in the Kingdom and we look forward to working with the local businesses to develop our franchise in the region further."
