AFS supports and presents at Consumer Credit Conference

AFS, the region's first and most prominent provider of electronic-payments and consumer finance outsourcing services is supporting and presenting at the upcoming Consumer Credit Conference, the Bankers' Society of Bahrain announced.

The conference will be hosted by the Bankers' Society of Bahrain under the patronage of Bahrain Monetary Agency Governor HE Mr. Rashid Al Maraj.

The two day conference will be held on May 15-16 2006 at the Gulf International Exhibition & Convention Centre, Gulf Hotel.

Through leveraging state-of-the-art technology and consulting expertise, AFS provides its client banks cost efficient and integrated services it includes card processing, application and transaction processing, authorizations, customer service, and issuance, card personalization, fraud management, statement issuing and dispatching, dispute and chargeback processing, reporting, settlement, reconciliation and loyalty programs. To date, AFS provides outsourcing services to over 50 banks and financial institutions in the region.

Mr. Rasool Hujair - Chief Executive Officer of AFS will be presenting a paper titled "The future trends in the consumer lending industry' who will discuss the trends in the consumer lending industry, the opportunities and challenges and how the banks can prepare for them

The Conference will focus on the emerging trends and key developments in consumer credit and its implication for the GCC markets. The conference targets Senior and Middle management of banks, financial institutions, financial consulting and auditing firms, Legal experts, Risk Managers, Branch Managers, Credit cards issuers, Regulators, Providers of consumer products and loans, Marketing professionals and Systems & Security professionals.

Papers will be presented under four themes exploring the various trends and developments in consumer credit: Economics of Consumer Credit, Business Challenges, Security & Regulatory Issues, and Technology & Monitoring of Credit Systems.
