CBD hosts customer seminar

CBD hosted a customer seminar for its customers at its Head Office in Dubai.

The topics were titled 'Strategic HR' and 'Role of IT in increasing organizational efficiency'. The seminar was attended by prominent businessmen and executives from various companies and firms.

Mr Masood Azhar, Head of Strategic Planning, in his introductory address lauded the customers for their support without which CBD's progress would not have been possible. Mr Stephen Davies, Head of Corporate Banking highlighted the importance of people's role in an organisation's success and the enabling role of IT to achieve business objectives.

Mr Martin Jalili of M/s.People Partnership covered the topic on HR. He spoke on central roles people play in making an organization effective.

Mr Amir Afzal, Head of IT at CBD, covered the key success factors in application of IT as well as CBD's initiatives and experiences on core system, paperless operation and delivery channels.

The seminar is a continuing series of customer contact programs CBD hosts in order to share knowledge, experience as well as gather feedback from its valuable customers.

According to Mr Tarique Anjum, Head of Quality at CBD,
"Customer Seminars present an unique opportunity to share our insights with our customers as well as strengthen our relationship with them."
