BPA hires Aspen Aman as Business Development Manager, Middle East

As part of its recently announced expansion in the region, BPA Worldwide has hired Aspen Aman as Business Development Manager, Middle East.

Ms. Aman, who is based in BPA's Dubai office, is overseeing BPA's marketing and outreach efforts
in Dubai and the greater Middle East, effective immediately.

Ms. Aman most recently worked for BPA's marketing partner, the Dubai Consultancy, Research and Media Centre (DCRMC), as Project Manager for the Middle East Publishing Conference. She launched the well-received conference in January 2005 and oversaw its second successful year in March 2006.

Prior to DCRMC, she worked in client management and public relations for Al-Hashedi for Trading
and Contracting in Yemen; and as a business development, public relations and communications
consultant in Yemen for the private sector, NGO's and Yemeni government clients.

She began her career as a Foreign Service Officer for the U.S. Department of State in 1990, serving in consular affairs and later in economic, political and commercial affairs. Her assignments included Damascus, Syria; Dubai; Amman, Jordan; and Sana'a, Yemen. Prior to her Yemen assignment, she worked for a year as a Watch Officer in Washington D.C., U.S. She received both a Group Superior Honor Award and a Meritorious Honor Award for her work.

Ms. Aman holds a BA in political science from the University of California, San Diego and a Master of Arts in Arab Studies from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. In addition, she has completed advanced Arabic language studies at the Foreign Service Institute in Tunis, Tunisia.

as a DCRMC partner to us in Dubai for the past two years, and we are extremely pleased that she is joining BPA's full-time staff in the region," said BPA Worldwide President and CEO Glenn Hansen.
