Free zone reform advice

Major international law firm DLA Piper has opened an office in Dubai, and says it is advising some of the UAE's free zones about updating their laws, which would lead to more foreign investment, reported Gulf News. There are more than 100,000 companies currently registered in Dubai, of which around 10,000 operate out of free zones.
