DSL Exhibitions, the international property exhibitions company are hosting this 11 year-old event at Dubai, open on the 11th, 12th and 13th of May 2006 at the Grand Hyatt, Dubai, from 5.30pm to 9pm on Thursday and 12noon to 9pm on Friday and Saturday.
Over the past 10 years, global appreciation in property values has regularly outperformed all other kinds of investments, including, antiques, gold, stocks and bonds. The equity markets in the region have been especially volatile. This coupled with the recent announcement of the new property laws in the region, means that 'bricks and mortar' as a safer haven for everyone's hard earned cash.
Commenting on property as an attractive option for all levels of investments, Mike Bridge, Regional Sales Director of DSL Exhibitions said: 'We all know that property, wherever you buy it, always appreciates in value, is a safe investment if you have done your homework and can provide lifelong income. With the Worldwide Property Show, investors living in the Middle East now have access to real estate across the world.'
Visitors can use this opportunity to look at a wide range of properties, to meet different needs - Whether you are looking to buy a holiday home, a place to retire to or simply want a good return on investment. As many of the exhibitors live in these locations, visitors can also enquire about lifestyle issues such as education, healthcare, rental returns, climate etc in the countries being featured.
Many locals and expatriates in Dubai have already purchased in the designated areas of Dubai, but with decent tax-free incomes, they are still keen to consider a second or maybe even a third home elsewhere.
'Although there are number of great projects here in Dubai that are still increasing in value, we have definitely noticed a renewed interest in property in Europe, Asia and Australia,' said Mike Bridge. 'For some the Dubai prices and expensive mortgages have pushed ownership out of reach, but if you look around abroad, you can pick up some great apartments and villas for a fraction of the price.'
The Worldwide Property Show targets affluent national, expatriate, international corporate investors and high net worth individuals who wish to buy off plan and invest in residential real estate on a global scale. Exhibitors include property developers, estate agents, solicitors and mortgage specialists, lenders plus letting agents from approximately 30 different countries including USA, France, Spain, England, Gibraltar, Cyprus, Greece, Croatia, Morocco, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand Australia, the UAE, Oman, Bahrain and many more.
