A fluent speaker of German, English and French, Henssler completed his studies at the prestigious Ecole Hotelier de Lausanne, where he obtained a Diplôme de technicien supérieure en hôtellerie et restauration.
Shortly after graduation, Henssler worked for a hotel in Germany as a saucier. He has since worked his way to the top working with various prestigious international hotel brands all over the world. His accomplishments include successfully turning around and repositioning a bankrupt property, gaining the respect and admiration of his peers for acute business sense and amiable character.
In Dubai, Henssler leads a highly dynamic and capable team of managers that hopes to make the Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates the leading destination for world-class leisure, shopping, dining and entertainment in the region.
"I've had many career highlights in the years that I have worked for the Kempinski Hotel group. I relish every challenge and opportunity that comes with the job, and this new posting is no different, although the challenge is a bit bigger considering the kind of competition here in Dubai. However, given Kempinsk's brand equity and the many unique and exclusive features of the hotel, as well as a highly competent team to back me up, I have every confidence we will succeed."
Meanwhile, Hennsler announced that regional tourists have started bookings for Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, keen on spending the summer at the luxury hotel that offers world class shopping and leisure opportunities, as well as a unique Alpine experience, featuring the world's third largest indoor ski resort and the biggest covered snow park.
The sprawling 48,000 square metre property introduces one of the country's largest hotel guest rooms, as well as 393 deluxe suites and 15 ski chalets, all designed and built with luxury and comfort in mind. A state-of-the-art health club, Ayurveda wellness centre, plush Spa suites, beauty treatment rooms, swimming pool and tennis court complete the guests' lavish leisure experience.
