UAE policies ward off dengue

The UAE's stringent approach to counteracting the threat of malaria has helped keep the country free from dengue fever, reported Gulf News. Neighbouring Saudi Arabia has seen a new outbreak which has claimed five lives in Jeddah. But the UAE's aggressive anti-mosquito spraying policy should keep the country free of the disease.
