RAK destroys foodstuff

The Ras Al Khaimah Municipality destroyed nearly 2,000kg of foodstuffs in April, which was deemed unfit for human consumption. The food was found after a detailed inspection involving 2,167 shops. 276 shops were found to be breaching hygiene regulations and a number of fines and warnings were meted out.
