"This has been a tremendous result and a great start for Deutsche Messe in the Middle East," said Susanne Klaproth, Director, DOMOTEX.
"The show will now take up some 14,000 square metres of gross space and has immediately established itself as one of the fastest-selling trade events in the region."
DOMOTEX Middle East will run at the DWTC from May 28-30. The brand is one of the biggest names in the trade show industry with two well-established annual events in Hannover and Shanghai.
Some of the biggest names in the carpets and flooring industry are featured in the exhibitor profile, including Belgium's Balta Industries NV, Miri Iranian Knots of Iran, Al Hayat Carpet Factory Co LLC and Sorayai Carpet Factory of Saudi Arabia and Hassan Maktabi & Sons of Lebanon. The show will also feature national pavilions from the Netherlands, Croatia and the Benelux.
"The pace at which enquiries and reservations came in outstripped our best expectations and is testimonial to the power of the DOMOTEX brand, to the expertise and reputation of Deutsche Messe AG Hannover, which owns the brand, and also to the rise of the Middle East's construction industry, fuelled by ever more favourable real estate legislation and continued investment in the hospitality and retail sectors," said Angela Schaschen, Managing Director of Messe Middle East, the regional co operation partner of Deutsche Messe AG Hannover.
DOMOTEX Middle East is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed al Maktoum, President, Department of Civil Aviation, Government of Dubai and Chairman of the Emirates Group. The show has the official support of the UAE Contractors Association.
