The MILIPOL exhibition has been a successful platform for BAE Systems in the past, and we are looking forward to making this upcoming show the best yet, including the much-anticipated debut of our DSU.'
Jayne Thomson, Communications Director, BAE SYSTEMS Middle East, will arrive from the U.K. to be in attendance at MILIPOL. She added, 'With the ever changing security and defence needs of nations and companies around the world, BAE Systems looks to the innovation of our research and development staff, in order to constantly be on the cutting edge when meeting such demands. When looking locally, the countries in the Middle East have, more than ever, targeted needs with regards to the protection of their people, borders and property. Operating throughout the GCC on a local level is important to BAE Systems, and demonstrates our commitment to the communities in which we serve.'
Among the additional products and services BAE Systems will offer information on throughout the show are: perimeter security, weapons, training, transport vehicles (equipment carriers and tankers), advanced jet trainers, light armoured vehicles, all-terrain rapid response vehicles, vehicle location, tracking systems & fleet management, radar, border control and surveillance, and high security communication networks.
BAE Systems will be located in Booth E33 on the tradeshow floor for MILIPOL 2006.
MILIPOL 2006, being held in Doha, Qatar for the sixth time, will feature over 4,000 sq. m of exhibitor displays throughout the 10,000+ sq. m exhibition hall. Over 220 Exhibitors from 35 countries are expected to take part in the show, augmented by 6 National pavilions (France, Germany, Russia, South Africa, United Kingdom, USA).
In addition to the 4,000+ visitors expected at MILIPOL, approximately 100 official delegates and high level decision makers from Gulf countries have been invited by the Ministry of Interior to attend the show.
