Seven Seas and ATS establishes JV

Seven Seas Computers, LLC (Seven Seas), a leading UAE based systems integrator has strengthened the relationship with Affirmative Technology Services (Pty) Ltd and signed an agreement for the establishment of a joint venture, enabling the provisioning of business management solutions in the UAE and the GCC region.

ATS, a South African based management consulting company, provides international consulting and training on IT Governance, Service Management, Business Continuity Planning and Risk Mitigation. Contrary to traditional "silo" consulting within these areas, ATS delivers the strength of each area through the value-based methodology of Governed Service Management. Governed Service Management has its pillars in three strong methodologies and best practice standards:

• ITIL, covering the Service Management requirements from support to delivery of IT Services.

• ISO17799 representing the Security and Risk Mitigation requirements, including the BCP/DRP areas.

• COBIT, building the executive controls on IT with clear performance indicators and metrics for compliancy.

BMS will be offering the value of Governed Service Management, both through the combination of the pillars and as individual requirements.
