RAK police net clam fishermen

Officials from the Ras Al Khaimah Municipality and the local police worked together yesterday to arrest two Indian fishermen in Al Halilah who were catching rare clams known as doch, reported Gulf News. The two fishermen were seized in their boat with a large quantity of doch on board. The doch is seen by local people as a cure for impotence and is sold for tens of thousands of dirhams per kilogramme.
