NBK, $4.9bn more money

The National Bank of Kuwait has reported that money supply in the country rose by $4.9bn in Q1, reported the Kuwait Times. Growth in domestic credit was an important reason behind the increased liquidity, as were payments of dividends by five Kuwaiti banks, who put around $852m into the system, and large increases in foreign assets.
