"Template Manager 2006 provides users the flexibility and ease to achieve professional in-house printing," said John Ross, General Manager Middle East, OKI Printing Solutions. OKI continues its commitment to respond to the needs of today's businesses and provide them with tools that enhance their productivity."

Designed by OKI Printing Solutions, Template Manager 2006 empowers users to professionally design and print on a range of media up to 203gsm, including business cards, CD labels to 1.2m length banners, and to do so with ease by automatically managing the printer settings.

The software enables users to create, design and edit documents and also includes a simple print process to help users achieve efficient and error free printing.

• Create mode - enables users to develop templates that address their specific company requirements, for example internal forms or documents that require customisable paper sizes.

• Design mode - provides users with the ability to create templates such as business cards, banners and labels and protects areas of the template so they cannot be altered. For example, when designing business cards, users can protect the logo and other corporate branding, but allow the name, phone number and other details to be changed. This mode also enables the easy insertion of graphics, logos and objects from packages such as MS Excel, Project and Adobe Photoshop into the templates.

• Edit mode - allows users to edit un-protected fields in an existing template and then save the template. For example, on a business card they can change the name, phone number and other relevant details and save it as their own business card.

By using Template Manager 2006, the print process is extremely straightforward and easy to do. This software automatically selects the correct media to use, from the correct paper tray. Clicking 'Print' initiates a dialogue box that explains where the media should be placed. Furthermore, the printer settings are automatically selected to ensure error free printing.
