The 42PC1RR is an excellent example of technology integration by LG designers and engineers. "Customers are increasingly demanding more from technology today," explained Mathew Vincent, Divisional Manager, LG PDP at Al Sayegh Brothers.
"The new model offers our customers the option to make their TV viewing time more flexible. With the FIFA World 2006 Cup close, this new breakthrough is already a hit with soccer fans, who do not have to miss a single match, no matter how busy they are,"
he adds.
LG's proprietary XD Engine technology, offering Sharpness Enhancement, 3D Colour Control, Dynamic Contrast and 3D Noise Reduction, power the Plasma display. The DV recorder built into the Plasma has an 80GB recording capacity, enough to store 30 hours of TV programmes, so you can watch them later. With a 1-hour automatic time shift, you can pause running TV programmes and even fast forward sections of the programming you do not wish to watch, such as commercials. You also have the option of choosing how you wish to record your programs - through Instant Record, Manual Record or even while you watch another channel. The unit becomes the center of your home theatre / multimedia studio, where you can connect other devices.
"Technology is no longer seen only as a business oriented necessity," says Mathew. "Consumers in the Middle East have embraced digital technology and do want to enjoy its benefits. To keep pace with the changing consumer trends, Al Sayegh Brothers will be focusing much more on these products as we want to enhance the consumer experience with new products that improve lives and add convenience," he adds.
The model is available in the UAE from all Al Sayegh Brothers and E4U showrooms, as well as from all quality electronics retailers.
