The choice of venue, the presentation and audience are all important factors for how a launch is initially received.

The Office Exhibition, due to open its doors on the 4th June, has now become the destination of choice for several international brands to announce their new product ranges, due to the shows established following and ever increasing footfall year on year.

Managing Director of exhibition organisers, dmg world media Dubai Ltd, Bernard Walsh, said

"The Office Exhibition is a much acclaimed event for the design and management of the office environment and is reflected by the impressive variety of new products being showcased at this year's show."

Companies such as leading Italian furniture manufacturer Babini Office, manufacturers of high quality, competitively priced workplace solutions will be unveiling Studio by Babini - a fusion of glass and wengé finishes that effortlessly merges traditional materials with contemporary tastes and culture.

Vitra, renowned for repeatedly setting new standards in the office furniture market, have also confirmed their presence. Several of their new concepts will be showcased at the exhibition such as the latest HeadLine chair which responds to today's computer-oriented workplace by extending its supportive functions to previously neglected areas of the shoulders, neck and head.

Another major player set to launch their outstanding range of products is the American company Allsteel. The award-winning Align System, through its functionality and aesthetics, responds to the physical environment being one of the three major contributing factors in job satisfaction and turnover. Allsteel recent workplace trend research revealed that attracting and retaining a highly skilled workforce is key to employers which we have addressed through Align.

Royal Ahrend, the Dutch company with a long tradition and history of industrial design and interior architecture will be unveiling the striking Ahrend 1200 table at this year's show. The introduction of the Ahrend 1200 table, designed by internationally renowned architects Roberto Meyer & Jeroen van Schooten, will undoubtedly attract a great deal of interest at the exhibition.

And so to the environment, the office environment that is. Having created an aesthetically pleasant and ergonomic workplace, it is also important to maintain a clean and fresh environment by eliminating pollutants, the most crucial of which is the much maligned cigarette. Whilst tolerance of smokers is perhaps greatest in this region compared to other parts of the world, steps have been taken in recent years to limit areas in which people are permitted to smoke, both in the workplace and in public places.

However, the solution so far has been to banish offenders to specified areas which unwittingly reduces the effective working time of a smoker. Identifying a niche opportunity in this area, the Swedish company, Smoke Away, will be revealing its revolutionary technology for the protection of the non-smoker, by offering a 100 percent smoke-free and odourless solution for your office without banishing cigarettes from the workplace, nor the installation of costly air purification systems.

With the wealth of new technologies and innovations being unveiled at The Office Exhibition 2006, all professionals involved in the design and management of the office environment will certainly find the solutions they have been seeking.
