HP holds Technology Roadshow 2006

HP held its biggest channel event of the year titled 'HP IPG Technology Road-show 2006' in Dubai earlier yesterday for its preferred partners, distributors, key retailers, employees and media.

This year's event was themed 'Joining for Growth', providing audiences an insight into the latest HP technologies, their customer benefits and unique advantages. The two-day road-show was inaugurated by Amr Hassan, General Manager, Imaging and Printing Group, HP Middle East. The roadshow which commenced on April 11th this year, will continue its tour of 15 countries across the EMEA region with its last stop in September later this year.

Amr Hassan, General Manager, Imaging and Printing Group, HP Middle East, said:

"This is the third edition of the HP IPG Technology Roadshow in the Middle-East. Our theme this year is "Joining for Growth"; highlighting the need for increased collaboration and partnership with our channel to drive business and move forward. The product demonstrations and presentations will provide a real-life experience to our customers and assist in developing a proper understanding of the new technologies HP has to offer."


At the event, HP also gave audiences a chance to gain hands-on experiences of HP's latest product range including: HP Scanjet 8270, HP Photosmart R927 Digital Camera, HP Photosmart R727 Digital Camera, HP LaserJet 5200 Printer series, HP LaserJet 1018 Printer, HP Color LaserJet 2600n, and HP Color LaserJet 2605

The event included a number of focussed presentations relating to all elements of the imaging and printing business, including specific sessions entitled 'Cost Efficiency - a focus on HP's color printing line-up'; 'Catching the wave with the right product - from all-in-ones to MFPs'; 'Print Quality - Laser, Ink, and LFP'.

"In today's competitive business scenario, there is a need for businesses to adopt new technology inorder to become leaner, faster and more agile. The technology roadshow once again demonstrates our commitment to educating the channel so our partners can keep up-to-speed on the latest developments," added Hassan.
