RAK FTZ participates in "Emirates-Germany" Economic Partnership Forum

The Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone Authority (RAK FTZ) expects a large number of German investors and companies to register at the zone and start their bases in the emirate as the zone's latest participation in an international forum in Germany was a great success.

The zone's stand at the "UAE-Germany Partnership Forum" which took place in Munich on May 9th -11th was visited by potential German business people and company representatives to get deeply introduced to the facilities the zone provides for its registered companies. The majority of those visitors expressed their readiness to set up new bases in Ras Al Khaimah to penetrate new markets.

Oussama El Omari, the Director General and CEO of the RAK FTZ said, 'Participation in the "UAE- Germany Partnership Forum" has paved the way for a major development in the Ras Al Khaimah economy and enhanced the bilateral relationships between the UAE and Germany.'

El Omari introduced the German investors and business community to the investment opportunities in the UAE in general and Ras Al Khaimah in particular. He provided in depth explanation to the emirate's geographic location, infrastructure and the logistic comprehensive facilities which gives the zone's registered companies easy and direct access to the international markets.

El Omari introduced the German business community to Ras Al Khaimah key projects currently under construction, which makes the emirate the ideal investment environment for various types of projects.

He added that the forum played a central role in exchanging ideas between the UAE and German business people, paving the way for the two sides to sign economic partnerships and conduct business transactions.
